Novokuibyshevske refinery is once again targeted by drones

On the night of Thursday, November 27, drones attacked several regions of Russia. In the Samara region, the city of Novokuibyshevsk came under attack. The explosions occurred in the area of the Novokuibyshevsk Oil Refinery, one of the leading oil refineries in the Volga region, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports, citing Russian propaganda media.
The Ukrainian Telegram channel Exilenova also wrote about the attack on this refinery. There is no official confirmation of this information from the regional authorities.
The Novokuibyshevsk refinery was already attacked by drones on November 16 and October 19.
The Russian Defense Ministry announced the destruction of 118 drones
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, 52 drones were shot down over the Belgorod region overnight, 26 over Kursk, 18 over Samara, six over Krasnodar Krai and Bryansk, and two over Voronezh, Lipetsk, and Orenburg regions. Due to the threat of UAVs, airports in Tambov, Penza, Saratov, Samara, Kaluga and Sochi were closed at night, Rosaviatsiya reported.
Vyacheslav Gladkov, the governor of the Belgorod region, wrote on Telegram that several private houses, outbuildings and cars, as well as a power line, were damaged in the region as a result of drone attacks over the past day. There are victims, one of whom is hospitalized. Mobile internet was cut off in Belgorod region, which Gladkov explained as a security measure.
In the Penza region, the wreckage of a drone fell in the village of Tamala, damaging a one-story building that was empty, and the blast wave smashed the windows of a nearby residential building, said Governor Oleg Melnichenko. According to him, there were no casualties. A state of emergency has been declared in the village.
