New feed additives plant to be built in Cherkasy region: launch dates announced

A new plant for the production of high-protein feed additives and animal fats, Feednova Center, is to be opened in Cherkasy region.
The company is to start operating in August 2026, Interfax-Ukraine reports , "Komersant Ukrainian".
Investments and equipment
According to Ihor Liski, founder of EFI Group, the investment company that is developing the project, the company has already formed a base of raw material suppliers and signed contracts with partners from the Netherlands and Denmark to supply production equipment.
According to the investment agreement, the state support provides for compensation for the cost of engineering and transport infrastructure worth UAH 172.1 million.
Previous experience and business sustainability
Liski emphasized that investors continue to invest in Feednova projects despite the pandemic and full-scale war.
The chain’s first plant in Lviv region began construction during COVID-19 and was officially launched on June 23, 2021. After the outbreak of war, the company increased production capacity, installed new lines, and is currently implementing a second major project in parallel.
Increased investment in the processing industry and the agricultural sector
The launch of the Feednova Center in Cherkasy region is part of a broader trend of increased investment in the processing industry and the agricultural sector even during the war.
The region has previously announced the construction of a Feednova Center in the Zvenyhorod community, which will also produce feed additives and animal fats.
At the same time, large projects are underway in other regions:
- zolotonosha Bacon is completing the construction of the AMILL-CORN corn processing plant;
- oLVIA multigrain oilseed complex is being launched in Mykolaiv region;
- golden Agro is investing in the modernization of its oil pressing plant in Izmail.
