Halyna Klymovych, the first female investigator for particularly important cases of the Prosecutor General’s Office, former investigator in the case of poisoning Andriy Yushchenko, suggests that the searches of Andriy Yermak (which are currently being conducted by NABU) were agreed in advance with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. She wrote about this on Facebook, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
“I do not believe that the searches on Bankova Street take place without the knowledge and consent of Yermak himself, and even more so without Zelensky’s permission. All this is another cynical performance to ease the tension in society. We are showing you that the law is the same for everyone, and the fact that nothing is likely to be found during the searches is just the way it is, sorry,” Klymovych said.

In addition, she questions the widespread thesis that the NABU’s investigative measures around the OP “weaken Ukraine’s position,” pointing out that this is just such a scenario and hinting that its authors are from Bankova Street.
Searches at Yermak’s place
Today, the NABU reported that searches were conducted at the home of the head of the OP, Andriy Yermak.
Later, he also confirmed this information:
“Today, NABU and SAPO are indeed conducting procedural actions at my home. The investigators have no obstacles. They were granted full access to the apartment, and my lawyers are on the spot, interacting with law enforcement. I am fully cooperating,” Yermak wrote in a telegram.
The NABU promised to inform later about the case in which the investigation is ongoing.
The Financial Times suggestedthat this could be the Midas case.
“Midas and the consequences
On November 10, the NABU and the SAPO published the so-called Mindich tapes, which show that Energoatom operated a kickback scheme, with contractors demanding 10-15% of the transaction amount.
The scandal also implicated former Justice Minister Herman Halushchenko and former Energy Minister Svitlana Hrynchuk, who have both resigned. These former officials are not suspected.
As part of Operation Midas, the following individuals were served with a notice of suspicion:
- Ihor Myroniuk (Rocket) – former advisor to the Minister of Energy,
- Dmytro Basov (Tenor) – Executive Director for Security at Energoatom,
- Alexander Zuckerman (Sugarman),
- Ihor Fursenko (Rashik),
- Lesya Ustymenko,
- Lyudmyla Zorina.
Timur Mindich was served with a notice of suspicion in absentia. The latter managed to leave Ukraine.
The day before, journalists of Ukrainska Pravda found out that the (now) former deputy head of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office, Andriy Sinyuk, had repeatedly met with lawyer Oleksiy Meniv. According to the UP, he may be connected to Mindich.
At the same time, the head of the SAPO, Oleksandr Klymenko, actually “cleared” Sinyuk of suspicion of leaks in the Midas case during a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada Committee.
He stated that the people Sinyuk met with were not involved in the Mindich case.
“In fact, we do not see any connection between these people, who were filmed meeting with
Sinyuk, with the activities of this criminal organization. They are connected with completely different people, possibly connected with other criminal proceedings – we are checking this,” Klymenko said.
Currently, two criminal proceedings have been opened regarding the leakage of data from the NABU and the SAPO.
Klymenko’s deputy, Sinyuk, was dismissed from the SAPO “at his own request” amid the OTP investigation and Mindich’s own escape.
