Olympics 2026: Eight sets of medals will be awarded on February 8

On Sunday, February 8, eight sets of medals will be awarded at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
Ukrainian athletes will compete for medals in five sports: Anton Dukach and Andriy Mandziy (luge), Annamari Dancha (snowboarding), Anastasia Shepilenko (alpine skiing), Dmytro Dragun and Oleksandr Lisogor (cross-country skiing), Dmytro Pidruchnyi, Vitalii Mandzyn, Olena Horodna, and Oleksandra Merkushyna (biathlon).
The 2026 Winter Olympics will be held in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy, from February 6 to 22. A total of 116 sets of medals will be awarded in 16 disciplines at the Games.
