Olympics 2026: schedule of Ukrainian performances on February 19

On Wednesday, February 19, Ukrainian athletes will compete in the Nordic combined event at the XXV Winter Olympic Games 2026 in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo. Representatives of the Ukrainian national team will compete in the team sprint, where medals will be awarded. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the NOC of Ukraine.
First, there will be ski jumping from a large hill, after which the athletes will take part in a cross-country race, which will determine the final results.
Shumbarec and Mazurchuk will represent Ukraine in the Nordic combined
Ukraine will be represented in the Nordic combined by:
- Oleksandr Shumbarets
- Dmytro Mazurchuk
Their results in ski jumping will determine their starting positions before the cross-country skiing race.

Ukrainian freestyle skiers’ starts postponed
The freestyle competition (ski acrobatics), in which Ukrainian athletes were also supposed to compete, has been postponed to February 20 due to unfavorable weather conditions.
The organizers decided to change the schedule to ensure the safety of the athletes.

Ukraine continues to compete at the 2026 Winter Olympics
