Today, on 6 August, Ukrainian athletes will compete in 4 sports at the Olympic Games in Paris.
Schedule of Ukrainian athletes’ performances
Kayaking and canoeing
10:30 – men’s kayak quadruple sculls 500m preliminary heats: Oleg Kukharyk, Dmitry Danilenko, Igor Trunov, Ivan Semykin.
12:00 – Women, preliminary heats, 500m double sculls: Lyudmila Luzan, Anastasia Rybachok.
12:30 – Men’s kayak double 500m preliminaries: Oleg Kukharyk, Igor Trunov.
Climbing
11:00 – women, 1/2 finals, bouldering: Evgeniya Kazbekova.
14:00 – men, qualification, speed: Yaroslav Tkach.
Wrestling (weight category up to 50kg)
12:00 – women, 1/8 finals: Oksana Livach.
Athletics
12:50 – men, qualification, javelin throw: Artur Felfner.
21:07 – women, 1/2 finals, 400m hurdles: Anna Ryzhikova.
Where to watch
In Ukraine, the Olympic Games will be broadcast by Suspilne Sport and local Suspilne TV channels. Four additional streams of the competition with a Ukrainian commentator will be available on the Suspilne Sport website.
The Olympic Games will also be broadcast by Eurosport.
Medal standings
After ten days of competition, Ukraine ranks 18th with 2 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze medals.
