Poll in Army: how military will be able to choose new units to serve in

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has initiated a survey in the Army app to collect feedback on improving the procedure for transferring servicemen to other units. The survey, which will run until November 10, will help create a mechanism that will allow servicemen to choose their place of service. This was announced by Deputy Defense Minister for Digital Development Kateryna Chernogorenko on her Facebook page, reports "Komersant Ukrainian"
The official noted that the Ministry of Defense, together with the General Staff of the Armed Forces, is working to make the transfer of military personnel more transparent and accessible.
“We want to create an army where every soldier feels at home. The new mechanism will allow our defenders to choose a unit for further service on their own,”
– emphasized Chernogorenko.
Thanks to updates to the Army app, servicemen will soon be able to submit transfer requests online, which will be processed within 24 hours. To ensure the effectiveness of the new procedure, the survey contains 12 questions related to the current position, responsibilities and reasons why the soldier wants to change units.
“Your answers will help to improve this algorithm so that it works clearly and without delays. We want to avoid bureaucratic obstacles that usually get in the way,”
– noted Chernogorenko.
She urged servicemen to actively participate in the survey and share this information with their colleagues:
“Together we can make the army better and more comfortable for every defender.”

Army
The Army app for military personnel was presented in August this year. The app aims to simplify the lives of Ukrainian servicemen and women and remove unnecessary bureaucracy.
In the first version of the app, 11 types of reports are available, as well as Army ID, a unique ID number that allows soldiers to send reports for signature.
In particular, the following types of reports can be submitted in electronic format
- for vacation
- for health improvement;
- for family leave.
The commander must then approve the report within three days or explain the reason for refusing to sign it.
The app also includes polls, which is how the government seeks to get the opinion of servicemen.
