Eurovision 2025 organizers presented the design concept of the contest stage

The organizers of the 69th Eurovision Song Contest have presented the design concept of the stage and visual support for the contest, which will be held in May 2025 in Basel, Switzerland. This is reported on the website of the “Suspilne.Eurovision”, "Komersant Ukrainian" informs.
The visual identity of Eurovision 2025 was developed by art director Artur Deynev. He was inspired by the Swiss tradition of dialogue, democracy and unity, calling his graphic concept Shapes Love. The visual concept was based on the iconic Eurovision symbol – the heart. Pulsating hearts became a key element of the design, representing the millions of people who come together through Eurovision to celebrate the music festival.
The organizers also presented the design of the future Eurovision 2025 stage. It was created by Florian Wieder, a Swiss-born designer who has been working on the contest stage for the eighth time. For this year’s contest, which will be held at the St. Jakobshalle in Basel, he drew inspiration from the Swiss mountains and the country’s linguistic diversity.
The Eurovision 2025 soundtrack will combine traditional motifs with modern elements. It will be based on a powerful rhythm, complemented by the characteristic features of Swiss music: yodeling, expressive drumming, and melodies on the hackbrett, a stringed instrument similar to Ukrainian cymbals, and alpine horns.
In addition, the organizers have announced the start of pre-sale registration for tickets to nine shows. It will last until midnight on January 10, 2025 and is already available on the Swiss ticketing platform TicketCorner.
Ukrainians have chosen the jury of the National Selection
According to the results of the poll in Diia, the leaders of the voting are:
– jamala, the singer and winner of the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest (156,048 votes – 35.28%)
– musician, producer, leader of the rock band Bez Obmezhen (89,516 votes – 20.24%)
– kateryna Pavlenko, frontwoman of Go_A (52,359 votes – 11.84%).
A total of 442,374 Ukrainians took part in the poll.
We would also like to remind you that a few days ago, the names of the nine finalists of the National Selection for Eurovision 2025 were announced.
In January, an online vote will be held in the Diia app to determine the tenth finalist.
The organizers of the National Selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 also reminded that the full list of finalists will be announced by January 17, 2025. The final of the selection will take place on February 8 in the format of a televised concert.
