Oschadbank is launching a “bank on wheels” in Bukovina — the first of its kind in the west of the country. This was reported by Oschadbank, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".

The mobile bank will regularly visit communities that do not have permanent branches so that people can receive basic banking services.

Oschadbank explained that Chernivtsi region was chosen for the pilot project because there are many remote settlements there.

“It is an armored vehicle with Starlink satellite internet and autonomous power supply, so it can operate even where there is no banking infrastructure,” the statement said.

At the mobile branch, you can: • open an account or deposit • get or reissue a card • receive a pension or social benefits

• make transfers

• pay for utilities and other services Routes and working hours will be determined based on the needs of local communities in the region.

According to Oschadbank, this type of branch previously operated mainly in frontline areas, where banking infrastructure has been destroyed or access to it is limited due to the war. Oschadbank is now using this experience to expand access to financial services in other regions. The project is being implemented as part of Oschadbank’s “My Accessibility” program, which aims to make financial services available to everyone.
