Paralympics 2026: today, 14 Ukrainian athletes will compete

On March 10, 12 sets of medals will be awarded at the 2026 Winter Paralympics in Italy.
On the fourth day of competition, winners will be determined in:
- paralympic racing
- para-alpine skiing
The competitions are taking place in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo, where they will continue until March 15.
Ukraine will field 14 athletes in the ski sprint
On Tuesday, 14 Ukrainian para-athletes will compete in sprint disciplines.
The competitions will be held in several classifications:
- sitting class
- standing class
- visually impaired class
First, the athletes will compete in the qualifying rounds, after which the best will advance to the finals.

- 11:55 — sprint, women (visually impaired)

- 14:29 — sprint, men (sitting)
- 14:38 — sprint, women (standing)
- 14:45 — sprint, men (standing)
- 14:54 — sprint, women (visually impaired)
- 15:01 — sprint, men (visually impaired)
Ukraine remains among the leaders
After the first days of competition, the Ukrainian team ranks second in the medal count.
The team’s achievements include:
- 3 gold medals
- 2 silver
- 5 bronze
A total of 10 awards.
35 participants and four sports
Ukraine is represented by 35 participants at the Paralympics:
- 25 athletes
- 10 athlete guides
Ukrainians are competing in four disciplines:
- Para-biathlon
- Paralympic racing
- Para-skiing
- Para snowboarding
In total, 79 sets of medals will be awarded in six sports at the Games, with more than 650 athletes with disabilities from around the world participating.
