Confidentiality agreement

1. This Agreement is valid for the Kommersant Ukrainian website (hereinafter referred to as the “Site”), owned by Kommersant Ukraine LLC (hereinafter referred to as the “Owner”).
2. This Agreement is a contract of adhesion, the fact that the visitor visits the Site indicates that the visitor has fully adhered to this Agreement and confirms his/her agreement to the following terms and conditions.
3. When the visitor visits the Site, the Owner may collect and process data about the visit to the Site:

3.1. cookies;

3.2. IP addresses;

3.3. parameters and settings of Internet browsers;

3.4. information about the connection, traffic, as well as the date, time, duration of the Internet connection;

This data is impersonal and does not constitute personal data. Automatic decisions when processing data on website visits from the website log do not have legal consequences for visitors.

4. The Owner may include the collected data in the visit log (log files) from the moment when the visitor first visited the Website. The data retention period is the period during which the visitor visits the Website, as well as the next three years after the last visit to the Website by the visitor.
5. The Owner may process data on visits to the Website by any means in order to determine the subject matter and improve the quality of the materials of the publication, prepare reports for advertisers on the number of impressions of banner and other advertisements.
6. The Owner may use anonymized data for targeting advertising and/or information materials; for statistical research.
7. The Owner has the right to transfer the data, in whole or in part, to third parties without notifying the visitor in the following cases: to persons to whom the Site is transferred; to the new owner and/or the Owner of the Site for processing for the purposes provided for in this Agreement.
8. When you visit the Website, the Website’s Internet pages may contain codes of third-party Internet resources, as a result of which such third parties receive the data specified in clauses 3.1, 3.2 and 3.3 of this Agreement. Such third-party Internet resources are:

8.1. systems for collecting statistics on visits to the Website (for example, bigmir.net counters, Google Analytics, etc.);

8.2. social plug-ins (blocks) of social networks (for example, Facebook, Google, etc.);

8.3. banner display systems (for example, AdRiver, etc.);

8.4. other resources.

9. The Website visitor has all the rights to protect his/her personal data provided for by the current legislation of Ukraine, in particular, the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection”.
10. Data processing is carried out in the premises where the equipment that ensures the functioning of the Website is located. The Owner takes all measures provided for by law to protect data, in particular, data processing is carried out on equipment located in restricted areas.
11. The Owner has the right to change the terms of this Agreement unilaterally. In this case, all changes will be published at https://www.komersant.ua/ and will be binding on the Website visitor 10 days after such publication.
12. Personal data subjects have all the rights defined in Article 8 of the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection”, in particular:

12.1. the right to withdraw consent or make reservations to the consent that is provided or has been provided;

12.2. the right to access their personal data, the right to object to the processing of personal data of subjects, the right to demand correction or destruction of personal data of subjects if such data is processed illegally or is unreliable;

12.3. the right to protection from providing information that is untrue or discrediting the honor, dignity and business reputation of an individual.
