The building of the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China sustained minor damage as a result of a massive missile attack on Odesa on the night of July 4.

This was announced by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga on Twitter, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.

According to Sybiga, on the same day, during the examination of the drone wreckage in Kyiv, Ukrainian experts found a component of a Shahed-type UAV manufactured in China and recently delivered.

“The same night, the building of the Chinese consulate in Odesa was damaged by Russian strikes,” he said.

The minister called the incident a telling example of how Russia continues to escalate and terrorize by involving North Korean military, Iranian weapons and components from China in the war.

“Security in Europe, the Middle East and the Indo-Pacific are interconnected. Countering Russian aggression in Europe strengthens security in other parts of the world,” Sibiga emphasized.

He also called on the United States and the international community to increase pressure on Moscow and its allies who support the war against Ukraine.
