Renowned journalist Denis Bezlyudko has passed away

Renowned Ukrainian journalist Denis Bezlyudko has passed away. His wife, Lesya Kazachynska, announced the tragedy today, January 7, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".

According to his wife, Denys Bezlyudko’s life was cut short during his usual morning jog.

“We are all mortal. And mortal suddenly. The war has only exacerbated this understanding,” wrote the journalist’s wife, calling on colleagues to show respect, restraint, and observe a “silence regime” during this extremely difficult time for the family.

Denis Bezlyudko was a well-known professional in the Ukrainian media space who had devoted decades to journalism.

Denis Bezlyudko: creative path

In 1998, he graduated from the Vadym Hetman Kyiv National Economic University. In 2009, he graduated from the DFJ School of Digital Journalism at the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. Since 2000, he has worked for a number of authoritative economic newspapers and publications:

Ukrainian News: Denis worked at the agency for 14 years, rising to the positions of editor-in-chief and director of development, which he left in March 2014.
RBC-Ukraine: In September 2015, he was appointed editor-in-chief of the agency.
Denis Bezlyudko was also an active blogger. His publications could be read on the Glavkom, Censor.NET, Telegraph, and other platforms.
He was a columnist and expert on television and radio on economic and media issues.
He was a guest lecturer on a journalism course at the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy and a long-standing participant and chairman of the board (since 2021) of the All-Ukrainian journalism competition Presszvanie.
