After drone attack: oil terminal in Novorossiysk port resumes operations

10 March 00:21

The Russian oil terminal “Sheskharis” in the Black Sea port of Novorossiysk has resumed loading tankers after an attack by Ukrainian drones on the night of March 2.

This was reported by Bloomberg, citing ship tracking data, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".

Three ships are currently moored at the berths: Psara I, Hanuman, and Briont.

The publication noted that the resumption of oil loading operations at the port of Novorossiysk has brought some relief to the global market amid the war in the Middle East.

The resumption of flows from a key Russian oil facility reduces pressure on global supplies, as several major producers, including Saudi Arabia, have cut production due to the near-blockade of the Strait of Hormuz.
