A plant for the production of building materials is in the final stages of preparation for launch in Kozlivska community in Ternopil region. The reconstruction work has been underway since 2016, and the company is now more than 90% ready, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
The project was officially announced by the head of the Ternopil Regional State Administration Vyacheslav Nehoda. According to him, the plant will become one of the region’s strategically important facilities.

Capacity and specialization
- The main products are ordinary bricks and ceramic blocks.
- Production capacity is up to 30 million standard bricks per year.
- The raw materials will be local, and production will be fully automated.
- At the initial stage, about 50 people will be employed.
The main source of energy will be gas, but the owners are considering switching to alternative fuel (pellets).

Why it is important
The launch of the enterprise can be a significant boost for the region’s economy:
- job creation,
- stable tax revenues,
- strengthening the industrial potential of the region.
In addition, the plant is focused on the needs of industrial, residential and agricultural construction, which is especially important in the context of Ukraine’s post-war reconstruction.
The plant in Kozlov has been undergoing reconstruction since 2016, and its launch has been repeatedly postponed.
Ternopil region has been investing in the food and construction industries in recent years. In 2025, a new plant for the production of canned vegetables and semi-finished products was opened in the region.
At the national level, the development of the construction industry is closely linked to the recovery programs implemented by the government together with international partners.
