The State Tax Service of Ukraine, together with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine,
are working on launching new tax services in the Diya app, reports "Komersant Ukrainian".
The first services are scheduled to launch in the near future. They will allow taxpayers to perform basic tax operations directly through the mobile app.
What exactly will be available in “Diya”
According to Lesya Karnaukh, head of the State Tax Service of Ukraine, users will gain full access to key tax services.
Key features include:
- filing income tax returns;
- paying taxes in just a few clicks;
- receiving tax notices and decisions;
- verifying data on taxable items.
All of this will be available directly in the Diya app.
Where was this announced
Lesya Karnaukh, Head of the State Tax Service of Ukraine, announced the new digital project during a meeting with entrepreneurs in Kropyvnytskyi.
According to her, the service is intended to make taxpayers’ interactions with the tax authority simpler and faster.
Tax services are already moving online
The digitization of tax services in Ukraine has been underway for several years.
According to the State Tax Service of Ukraine:
- since the beginning of 2026, taxpayers have received over 1.28 million administrative services;
- in total, the tax service provides 87 types of administrative services;
- most of them are already available online.
This allows citizens and businesses to obtain the necessary documents around the clock, without paperwork or waiting in line.
What the new service means
The integration of tax functions into Diya could mark the next stage in the digitalization of public services.
It is expected that this will:
- simplify tax payments for citizens;
- reduce bureaucracy for businesses;
- speed up taxpayers’ interactions with the tax service.
In this way, the government is gradually transitioning key financial services to the “government in a smartphone” format.
