Weather contrast: heat up to 37 °C, thunderstorms and squalls – forecasters warn of drastic changes by the end of June

Until the end of June, unstable weather is expected in Ukraine with localized thunderstorms, heavy rains, squalls and even hail. At the same time, in the southern regions and Transcarpathia, thermometers will sometimes rise to 35…37 °C, while the rest of the territory will remain within the seasonal temperature range.

Monday, June 23:
Night thunderstorms in the east, south and Dnipropetrovs’k region, during the day – in the Azov Sea, Crimea and Donbas. Hail and squalls up to 15-20 m/s are possible in some places. In the rest of the country it will be dry.
Temperature: at night 7… 15 ° C, in the south up to 17 ° C; during the day 18… 23 ° C, in the south and west – up to 30 ° C.
Tuesday, June 24:
Thunderstorms in the western, northern and central regions, hail and squalls up to 22 m/s are possible. Dry weather in the south and southeast.
Temperature: 13… 18 ° C at night, up to 8 ° C in the northeast; 20… 26 ° C during the day, up to 33 ° C in some places.
Wednesday, June 25:
Nighttime precipitation in the east, during the day – in the northwestern regions. West wind, 7-12 m/s.
Temperature: 11… 17 ° C at night, up to 20 ° C in the south; 22… 27 ° C during the day, up to 33 ° C in the south.
Thursday, June 26:
Sunny, only in the northeast and west – short-term rains with thunderstorms.
Temperature: 13… 19 ° C at night; 23… 29 ° C during the day, up to 36 ° C in Transcarpathia and the south.
Friday, June 27:
In the western, northern, central and Odesa regions – thunderstorms, heavy rains, hail and squalls up to 22 m/s. Other regions – without significant precipitation.
Temperature: 14… 19 ° C at night; 22… 28 ° C during the day, up to 37 ° C in the south and center.
Saturday, June 28:
Precipitation at night in the northeast, during the day – in the western, northern and central regions. Thunderstorms and gusty winds are expected.
Temperature: 11… 17 ° C at night; 21… 27 ° C during the day, up to 30 ° C in the Crimea and Azov Sea.
Sunday, June 29:
Short-term rains and thunderstorms in the northeast, the rest of the territory – without precipitation.
Temperature: 12… 18 ° C at night; 19… 24 ° C during the day, up to 29 ° C in the south.
Forecasters warn of weather that will be constantly changing – from scorching heat to powerful thunderstorms and squalls. Ukrainians are advised to follow the forecasts and be prepared for sudden changes.
