Hero of Ukraine, agrarian Leonid Yakovyshyn dies

On the evening of July 26, Leonid Yakovyshyn, Hero of Ukraine, MP of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the first convocation, Honorary Citizen of Chernihiv region, agrarian and director of Zemlya i Volia LLC, died.
This was reported by the Bobrovytsia City Council on its Facebook page, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
Deputy Mayor of Bobrovytsia Volodymyr Danishevsky told Suspilne that Leonid Yakovyshyn died at the Shalimov National Research Center for Surgery and Transplantation, where he had been staying recently.
Earlier, Leonid Yakovyshyn said that he would like to be buried in the mausoleum he built on the outskirts of Bobrovytsia, inspired by the mausoleum of the French Emperor Napoleon. This mausoleum is decorated with gold leaf and white marble. In total, its construction cost Leonid Yakovyshyn about three million dollars.
Leonid Yakovyshyn also said that the mausoleum would be opened to visitors after his death and burial.
