Head of the Ukrainian Association of Book Publishers Igor Stepurin dies

The life of the executive director of the Ukrainian Association of Book Publishers and Book Distributors, Ihor Stepurin, has ended.
The former head of the Association, Oleksandr Afonin, announced this on social media, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
“A heavy blow, terrible news – Igor Stepurin has left us… Oh, God! Why are you taking the wrong people? There are no words to express all the pain and regret…” he wrote.
Afonin also expressed his condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
Ihor Stepurin is a publisher, founder, and project director of the co-founder of the Samit-Knyha publishing house. He is also the chairman of the Library Country charitable foundation, chairman of the audit committee of the Ukrainian Association of Publishers and Booksellers, and founder of the Verkhovna Rada Book Club.
The funeral service for Ihor Stepurin will be held on October 12 in the funeral hall of the National Research Center for Radiation Medicine, Hematology and Oncology at 119/121 Beresteysky Ave. The beginning is at 12:00, said public figure Maryna Kinakh.
