Vera Alentova, star of the movie “Moscow Doesn’t Believe in Tears”, dies

Soviet and Russian theater and film actress Vera Alentova, best known for her role in the film Moscow Does Not Believe in Tears, has died at the age of 83.

Her death was reported by Russian propaganda outlets, citing the Pushkin Theater. According to StarHit, Alentova became ill during a farewell ceremony for actor Anatoly Lobotsky, and was taken out of the building on a stretcher, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
