More than 10 thousand people came to say goodbye to Armani

More than ten thousand people paid tribute to Italian fashion designer Giorgio Armani on Sunday, September 7. In two days, more than sixteen thousand people said goodbye to the fashion designer, Rainews24 news channel reports, citing the organizers of the event, "Komersant Ukrainian".
The farewell ceremony took place at the Armani/Teatro exhibition center in Milan.
According to the organizers, even before the opening of the hall on September 6, a line of several hundred people lined up in front of the building. The waiting time for those wishing to say goodbye ranged from one and a half to two hours.
Giorgio Armani died on September 4 at the age of 91.
Libertà reports that Armani will be buried in the family crypt in Rivalta, near Piacenza, the city where he was born. A few years ago, the fashion designer restored the family crypt where his parents and brother are buried. Armani’s final resting place will be a small local cemetery.
