The German automaker Porsche is considering returning to the global arms market and resuming development of defense products.
This was reported by the German edition of Europäische Sicherheit und Technik, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
The reason for such reflections was the company’s billions of dollars in losses last year. Thus, in 2024, the net loss for the company reached 20 billion euros, so Porsche is starting to look for new business areas where it could make money.

Since 1958, it has been a general contractor in the development of armored vehicles and also participated in the development of Leopard 1 tanks.
And during the Second World War, Porsche was engaged in the production of all-terrain vehicles and combat vehicles, including the Tiger and Royal Tiger heavy tanks, Ferdinand anti-tank vehicles, and Maus heavy tanks.
