US Embassy warns of possible terrorist attacks in Moscow

The US Embassy in Moscow has warned American citizens of possible terrorist attacks in the Russian capital in the next two days. The warning was published on the website of the US diplomatic mission, Kommersant Ukrainian reports 
US citizens are advised to avoid large crowds in Moscow over the next 48 hours.
“The Embassy is monitoring reports that extremists are planning to attack large gatherings in Moscow, including concerts, and US citizens should be advised to avoid large gatherings for the next 48 hours,” the statement said,
– the statement said.
The US State Department also issued its own warning on the X platform.
The US State Department has raised the level of danger of travelling to Russia to the maximum, level four. Americans are also urged to follow updates in local media and be aware of what is happening around them.
The UK Foreign Office issued a similar warning on its website, citing the US Embassy in Moscow. British citizens are advised to refrain from travelling to Russia entirely or consider leaving the country.
