US Embassy warns of high risk of massive Russian attacks in Ukraine

The United States Embassy in Kyiv has announced an increased threat from Russian missiles and drones. U.S. citizens were advised to follow the Ukrainian authorities’ reports of air threats. This was reported by the US Embassy in Ukraine, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
The embassy noted that in recent weeks, Russia has increased the intensity of missile and drone attacks against Ukraine. In addition, there is now a constant risk of significant air attacks.
“The U.S. Embassy in Kyiv urges U.S. citizens to exercise due caution. As always, we recommend that you be prepared to take shelter immediately in the event of an air raid alert. The U.S. Embassy in Kyiv has received information about a potentially significant air attack that could occur at any time over the next few days,” the statement said.
Due to the increased threat, citizens are advised to:
- Follow updates through local media.
- Identify the nearest shelters for safe stay in advance.
- In the event of an air raid, immediately go to a shelter.
- Follow the instructions of local authorities and emergency services.
