A kindergarten worker in Kharkiv helped to correct Russian strikes

Law enforcement officers detained a Kharkiv woman who was monitoring the locations of the Ukrainian military and transmitting data to Russians to adjust missile strikes. The detainee works in a kindergarten, Komersant ukrainiskyi
citing the SBU press service.
According to the investigation, the woman was remotely recruited by Russian intelligence in the autumn of 2023.
“She came to the attention of the occupiers through her acquaintance from Kupiansk, who fled to Russia during the capture of the district centre and joined the enemy forces,”
– the statement said.
Being near the facility, she covertly observed it to establish the approximate number of personnel and military equipment. The suspect then sent the information to her Russian handler via messenger in the form of text messages with the coordinates on Google maps.
During the searches of the detainee’s home, the SBU seized a mobile phone used by her to communicate with the aggressor.



Based on an agent’s “report”, the occupiers were preparing air attacks on the city using missile weapons and Shahed-type kamikaze drones.
Law enforcement officers exposed the suspect at the beginning of the alleged collaboration with Russia and detained the woman in her home. She faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
