The Army+ app was presented. What services are available to the military

An app for the military called Army has been launched in Ukraine. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the Telegram channel of the Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov.
According to the head of the ministry, the app will make life easier for the Ukrainian military and remove unnecessary bureaucracy.
What services are available in “Army”?
In the first version of the app, 11 types of reports are available and Army ID is a unique ID number for military personnel to send reports for signature.
In particular, the following types of reports can be submitted in electronic format
- for leave
- for health improvement;
- for family leave.
The commander must then approve the report within three days or explain the reason for refusing to sign it.
The app will also include polls so that the government can quickly find out the opinion of the military on any issue.

“This is a kind of Action for the military, created by the military with the needs of the military in mind. The app is now fully integrated into the legal framework of Ukraine. The services are already starting to function and can be used by the military,” said prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal.
“The military should not have to stand in queues for days in offices and waste time on paperwork. The paper army, where bureaucracy consumes most of the time, should become a thing of the past,” he added.
“Today, Ukraine is taking a step towards modernity and efficiency – the Army app is starting to work,” was reported the Presidential Office.
“The purpose of the app is to free the Ukrainian army from paperwork so that commanders and soldiers do not waste their time on ‘outdated and unnecessary’ bureaucracy,” said during the presentation of the mobile application, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
“The digitalisation of the army is an irreversible process, and the efficiency and effectiveness of the Defence Forces depend on it. The goal of the Ministry of Defence is to create an ecosystem that will make the life of a military man simple and clear. “Army is all the services for the military in a single system – banking, training, digital document management, logistics, personnel issues, feedback,” added Defence Minister Rustem Umerov.
What services will be added to Armiya in the future
The following services will be added to the Army app:
- ArmyID or military ID or military ID card;
- surveys of soldiers, which will provide feedback between the state and the soldier and see the real situation with the provision of services;
- courses and training programmes for defenders,
- reliable communication provided by secure chats for military personnel.
