In the near future, officials will present all the specifics,”

– zelensky said.

The President did not provide any other details. But earlier, Zelenskyy had already instructed the Cabinet of Ministers and officials to solve the problems with electricity in Ukraine. Energy situation in Ukraine today

Due to massive Russian shelling, the power system is experiencing a capacity shortage. Yesterday, to partially cover the electricity shortage, Ukraine additionally received emergency assistance from the power systems of Poland and Slovakia.

The main reason for the restrictions is the enemy’s attacks on energy infrastructure and the negative consequences of these attacks.

It should also be noted that blackouts are not foreseen for critical infrastructure companies and companies that import 80% of their electricity in accordance with a government decree.

Over the past 24 hours, shelling caused new blackouts in Dnipropetrovs’k, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Sumy, Chernihiv and Kherson regions. In Donetsk and Kharkiv regions, overhead power lines of regional power distribution companies were disconnected due to hostile shelling.

In Chernihiv Oblast, 947 customers in 15 settlements were simultaneously cut off from electricity supply as a result of shelling.

In addition, on 3 July, bad weather cut power to 191 settlements. Of these, 161 settlements were in Khmelnytsky region, 20 in Ivano-Frankivsk region, 6 in Chernivtsi region, and 4 in Zhytomyr region.
