Forecasts for the Ukrainian dairy industry in 2026 remain cautiously pessimistic. There are no signs of an imminent end to the war, and the global market environment is not developing in favor of exporters. This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to Infagro.

Rabobank analysts predict a decline in global dairy prices. The reasons are significant stocks and export surpluses in global markets. There is a risk of a prolonged downturn that could last until mid or even late 2026.

Under these conditions, 2026 could be another difficult period for Ukrainian dairy farmers.

However, in the long term, experts are more optimistic about the situation.

Farmers and processors who maintain their livestock, invest in sustainable production and modernization may gain competitive advantages after 2026, when the market situation begins to level off.
