Today, 18 July, there will be thunderstorms and squalls in Ukraine. A storm warning has been issued in a number of regions due to bad weather. This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Centre.
“On 18 July, there will be thunderstorms in the western, northern, daytime and most central regions, with hail and squalls of 15-20 m/s in some areas,”
– the statement said.
Forecasters have declared the first level of danger in many regions of Ukraine.
In the western, northern, during the day and in most of the central, sometimes Odesa and Mykolaiv regions, short-term rains with thunderstorms, in some areas hail and squalls of 15-20 m/s; at night in the western, during the day in the northern regions, in some places significant rain; in the rest of the country without precipitation.
The wind will be northeast, during the day in the western and northern regions – northwest, 7-12 m/s.
Temperatures in the southern, eastern, and most central regions will be 21-26° at night, 35-39° hot during the day, 40-42° hot in some places; in the rest of the country 18-23° at night, 27-32° during the day, and 23-28° in the western regions.
At the same time, thunderstorms are expected in Kyiv and the region, with hail and gales of 15-20 m/s in some places, and heavy rain in some parts of the region. The air temperature in the Kyiv region will be 27… 32°C, and in the capital it will warm up to 30°C.
