The international chain Lviv Croissants has joined the military support program “Plus” in the Army app, becoming the first partner of the new Food and Drinks category. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
Servicemen can now get a 15% discount on a combo set – any croissant and an Americano (regular or with milk). To do this, you need to generate a barcode in the app every month and show it at the checkout before paying. The offer is valid once a month at all Lviv Croissants locations across Ukraine.
According to a survey among Plus users, 33% of military personnel were most looking forward to food offers, so Lviv Croissants became the first partner to open this category in the Army.

How business supports the Armed Forces of Ukraine: the most important things about the Army program
Army is a mobile application of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine created to simplify everyday processes and provide military personnel with access to useful digital services. One of the key elements of the app is the national military support program Plusy, which brings together Ukrainian companies and businesses that offer discounts, special conditions and additional opportunities for military personnel.
To use the program, servicemen and women are identified through Army ID and then get access to partner offers. All discounts and bonuses are displayed in the “Benefits” section, and to activate a specific offer, a barcode or promotional code must be generated in the app and presented at the checkout or entered during online payment. At the same time, the personal data of the military is not transferred to partner companies – all processes are controlled by the Ministry of Defense.
The program covers several categories of services: transportation, fuel, food, delivery, shopping, equipment, and recreation. The partners include Ukrzaliznytsia, UKRNAFTA, WOG, OKKO, Nova Poshta, ROZETKA, Ukrarmor, Multiplex and other major Ukrainian brands. The military can receive discounts on fuel, special seats on trains, cheaper shipments, bonuses for equipment, appliances, household goods and services.
How to use “Pluses”
- Military personnel need to install the Army app (available on Google Play and the App Store) and log in.
- In the application, in the “Services” section, select the “Perks” item, where all available offers are presented.
- Depending on the partner, to get a discount, you need to generate a barcode or promotional code in the app and show it or enter it when paying.
The Army is actively expanding: the number of partners is growing, and so is the list of available benefits. The program was created to support the military in their daily expenses, make their lives more convenient and provide real savings through cooperation between the state and business.
As of today, the military have used the program’s offers more than 5.5 million times, saving over UAH 480 million in total.

Lviv Croissants success story: Ukrainian franchise conquering Europe
Lviv Croissants is a Ukrainian international franchise bakery chain founded in 2015 in Lviv. The company specializes in large freshly baked croissants with savory and sweet fillings, offering more than 35 variants of author’s recipes. There is a build-your-own format where customers can choose their own fillings.
The idea for the brand arose by accident during food testing when the croissants were baked incorrectly – they turned out to be larger and softer, which was the impetus for creating a unique product. The first Lvivsky branded sandwich croissant consisted of salami, scrambled eggs, cheese, vegetables, and sauce, and it is still a bestseller.
