Today, April 16, Ukraine will experience real spring warmth, with temperatures rising to 20°C in some places. However, some regions will be covered by light rains. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the Ukrhydrometcenter.
According to weather forecasters, warm air will continue to flow into Ukraine from southwestern Europe on this spring day, so night frosts are no longer expected almost everywhere.
“The weather with light rains in the western, most northern and central regions will be caused by an atmospheric front, while in the rest of the country there will be a high pressure field,” the Ukrhydrometeorological Center said.
Partly cloudy weather is forecast for Wednesday. The wind will be southeast, 7-12 m/s.
The temperature at night will be 5…10°C, in the east and southeast of the country – 2…7°C. During the day, the temperature is expected to reach 16… 21°C, in Transcarpathia it will warm up to 24°C. However, it will be colder in the northern, Vinnytsia, Cherkasy and Odesa regions – 13… 18°C.
On April 16, there will be partly cloudy weather in the capital and the region. No precipitation is forecast at night, with light rain in the morning and afternoon. The wind will be southeast, 7-12 m/s.
The air temperature in Kyiv region at night will be 5… 10°C, during the day it will be 13… 18°C. In Kyiv, at night, the temperature is forecast to be 8… 10°C, during the day the thermometer will rise to 14… 16°C.
It is worth noting that, according to the Ukrhydrometeorological Center, this year April will be warmer than usual in Ukraine. The average monthly temperature in the second month of spring is expected to be above normal.
