The prosecutor’s office has filed a lawsuit seeking to invalidate the illegal registration of ownership rights to a non-existent property on a state-owned land plot valued at 150 million hryvnias, which is currently being used by the Oleksandr Dovzhenko National Film Studio (Kyiv), according to the press service of the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office, as reported by "Komersant Ukrainian".

The Shevchenkivskyi District Prosecutor’s Office of Kyiv has filed a lawsuit seeking to remove obstacles to the use of the state-owned land plot, cancel the registration of ownership rights to a non-existent real estate object, and cancel the registration of the land plot in the State Land Cadastre.

The case concerns a land plot of over 1 hectare on Moldavska Street in the Shevchenkivskyi district of the capital. It is part of a 16-hectare land plot currently used by the state-owned enterprise “Oleksandr Dovzhenko National Film Studio.” No decision has been made to grant the land plot to other parties.

At the same time, it was established that a private company illegally registered ownership of a non-existent real estate object with an area of over 155 square meters, located on this land plot. Subsequently, a 1-hectare land plot was illegally registered in the State Land Cadastre with the designated purpose of “construction and maintenance of administrative buildings and office buildings of business entities.” The estimated value of the plot is 150 million UAH.

Upon discovering the violations, the prosecutor’s office filed a lawsuit seeking to invalidate the aforementioned illegal registrations.

Currently, the Kyiv Commercial Court has opened proceedings on the prosecutor’s claim. A preliminary court hearing has been scheduled.
