A prosthetic plant in Poltava went under the hammer for over UAH 50.2 million

The State Property Fund of Ukraine has sold the unified property complex of the Poltava Experimental Prosthetic and Orthopaedic Enterprise for UAH 50 million. This was reported on the Prozorro.Sale website. The winner of the auction was Orthoped LLC, owned by Yuriy Bondarenko.
The State Property Fund of Ukraine has put up for privatisation the single property complex of the Poltava Experimental Prosthetic and Orthopaedic Enterprise with a starting price of UAH 18.4 million. The company was established in 2020 and has production facilities in Poltava, Sumy and Kropyvnytskyi.
The plants produce
- rehabilitation aids for people with disabilities
- medical and rehabilitation equipment, exercise equipment, sports grounds for healthcare facilities, rehabilitation centres and other institutions
- provide free of charge, under the state programme, combatants and people with disabilities with upper and lower limb prostheses, upper and lower limb orthoses, orthopaedic footwear, rehabilitation aids for children with disabilities, and wheelchairs.
The company’s production capacity is 2400 m². The company employs 130 people who manufacture up to 1000 pairs of orthopaedic shoes, 120 units of upper and lower limb prostheses, at least 10% of which are for military personnel, 150 upper and lower limb orthoses, and 450 rehabilitation aids per month.
