Rada begins consideration of the State Budget-2025: live video broadcast

The Verkhovna Rada has begun considering the draft state budget for 2025 in the first reading. This was announced by MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
“The Rada adopted the “budget conclusions” as a basis,” Zheleznyak wrote.
He added that 234 MPs voted in favor of the resolution.
Next, MPs will consider amendments to the draft state budget.
“There are a lot of them (amendments – ed.), so it will last until night,” the MP warned.
According to Zhelezniak, on Thursday, “voting on amendments for confirmation and voting on budget conclusions as a whole, which is actually a vote for the budget in the first reading,” will take place.

He reminded that the conclusions would then be submitted to the government and wait for the text of the draft budget to be returned, “in order to vote on it finally by November 20.”
Zheleznyak also said that MPs supported amendment No. 155 by 244 votes, which cancels the UAH 3 billion salary increase for prosecutors in 2025.
Earlier, it was reported that the Verkhovna Rada staff wants to increase their salaries by 26.2%. These figures have already been included in the draft state budget for 2025.
