Detailed characteristics of the ERAM missiles
As Militarny writes, the ERAM program envisaged the creation of high-tech weapons with unique characteristics. The missiles developed within its framework are designed to be placed on aircraft carriers and are capable of accelerating to subsonic speeds, reaching an index of 200 meters per second. The range of these munitions is a minimum of 250 nautical miles, equivalent to 463 kilometers.
The physical parameters of the missile include a mass of 500 pounds, which corresponds to 226 kilograms. The weapon is equipped with a specially designed warhead that combines penetrating and fragmentation properties to maximize effectiveness against various types of targets. Detonation is accomplished by a multi-mode fuze, which allows the nature of the explosion to be adapted to specific combat missions.
The missile guidance accuracy is characterized by a circular probable deviation of no more than 10 meters from the designated target. A particularly important feature is the navigation system’s resistance to enemy electronic countermeasures – it is designed to remain effective even in conditions of intensive electronic suppression by the enemy.
As part of the program, CoAspire has created a jet cruise missile called the Rapidly Adaptable Affordable Cruise, abbreviated RAACM. The revolutionary feature of this weapon is the use of advanced 3D printing technology in the manufacturing process, which significantly speeds up and reduces the cost of creating munitions.
In parallel, Zone 5 Technologies has developed its own variant of the missile, which is called the Rusty Dagger.

Both types of missiles are built on the principles of modularity and scalable design. The modular architecture allows for the rapid addition of new functional components aimed at increasing the survivability of the munition and expanding its combat capabilities. In particular, it provides for the possibility of rapid replacement of the warhead depending on the nature of the mission.
The versatility of the missiles lies in their ability to be used on a variety of launch platforms. Whether launched from aerial carriers, ground installations or offshore platforms, the missiles retain their effectiveness, making them an extremely flexible tool in various combat scenarios.
