Missile attack on Ukraine on 8 July cost Russia $200-250 million – Forbes

According to Forbes, Russia spent between $200 million and $250 million on the missile attack on Ukraine on 8 July! The cost of the downed missiles, given that the exact distribution of missiles by type remains unknown, is between $160 million and $200 million. This was reported by [Kommersant] with a reference to the relevant media report.

On 8 July, at around 10 am, Russia fired 38 missiles of various types at Ukraine, the Ukrainian Air Force reported. In particular, one X-47M2 Kinzhal aerial ballistic missile; four Iskander-M ballistic missiles; one 3M22 Zircon cruise missile; 13 X-101 cruise missiles; 14 Kalibr cruise missiles; two X-22 cruise missiles; and three X-59/X-69 guided missiles.
Different cities of Ukraine came under attack: Kyiv, Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, Sloviansk, and Kramatorsk.

Air defences managed to destroy 30 missiles: one X-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missile; three Iskander-M ballistic missiles; 11 X-101 cruise missiles; 12 Kalibr cruise missiles; and three X-59/X-69 guided missiles.
