Rocket attack on Kryvyi Rih: three-story building destroyed, casualties reported

A missile strike on Kryvyi Rih on Monday evening, October 28, almost destroyed a three-story residential building in a dense apartment complex. This was reported by the head of the Defense Council of Kryvyi Rih, Oleksandr Vilkul, according to "Komersant Ukrainian"
“At the moment, there are 12 wounded, three in surgery, two of them are very seriously injured,” he wrote.
Later, however, Vilkul reported that a man of 39 years old had died:
“Severe open head injury. Doctors did everything they could. My condolences to the family and friends.”
According to Vilkul, there are also many damaged houses nearby, with broken windows and balconies.
“We are setting up our headquarters in the nearest school (residents know where it is) – we are providing assistance with building materials, utility crews, applications for assistance from the city. We will help with resettlement,” Vilkul said.
He also added that an emergency rescue operation is underway at the site of the hit.
