The Ministry of Defense emphasized that reports claiming the mobilization reform will begin on April 1 are untrue. A plan for the changes is currently being drafted and will be presented at a later date. This was stated by Deputy Minister of Defense Yevhen Moysyuk, according to the Ministry of Defense, as reported by "Komersant Ukrainian".
“Reforming the Territorial Recruitment Center is a complex and multi-layered issue that cannot be resolved through quick fixes; rather, it requires a systematic and comprehensive approach. Today, we have a clear plan and timeline for implementing specific projects, which the team is consistently moving forward with. That is precisely why the information being circulated by the media is not true.”
According to Moysyuk, the Ministry of Defense team has developed a comprehensive plan for transforming the system. It is based on a data-driven approach, following an analysis of thousands of pieces of feedback and hundreds of hours of consultations and meetings with military personnel, experts, and relevant institutions.
“Every decision undergoes an effectiveness test. That is why we are currently on schedule. We will soon begin publicly presenting specific steps. This will be logical, transparent, and technologically sound. Based on the audit, we will propose solutions that will eliminate outdated problems while simultaneously strengthening the army,” the deputy minister assured.
Moisyuk added that the main goal is to carry out a systematic and effective restructuring of processes to ensure victory over the enemy.
Earlier, several media outlets reported on the launch of automatic data exchange between the “Oberig” registry, the Tax Service, and the Pension Fund, effective April 1.
Specifically, this involved verifying salary levels, payment of the unified social contribution, and the actual staffing levels at enterprises.
On March 25, Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov announced that the Ministry of Defense team is preparing changes to the mobilization process, decisions regarding unauthorized absence from duty, as well as specific approaches for assault troops and infantry regarding terms of service and financial support.
