What is known

PlayCity announced the application of financial sanctions to two gambling organizers. The reason is a violation of the obligation to timely and fully respond to official requests from the regulator, in particular in cases related to player complaints.

Who was fined and why

Sanctions were imposed against the backdrop of industry revenue growth

In the first nine months of 2025, online casinos in Ukraine received UAH 45.5 billion, which is 8% more than in the same period of 2024. The regulator has repeatedly stated that with the growth of turnover, it will increase supervision over compliance with the rules.

Fines do not mean automatic revocation of licenses, but repeated or systemic violations can lead to stricter sanctions.
