Trump’s approval rating has fallen significantly: what Americans think about their president
10 March 10:12
President Donald Trump’s approval rating in the US has fallen significantly compared to March last year.
This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to The Hill.
It is noted that about 44% of respondents said they fully or somewhat support how President Trump is performing his duties. This is three percentage points less than in March 2025, when the approval rating was 47%.
At the same time, 54% of respondents said they completely or somewhat disapprove of Trump’s performance as president. For comparison, a year ago this figure was lower – 51%.
Regarding specific policy areas:
- 53% of respondents approve of the president’s actions in the area of border security;
- 44% support his immigration policy;
- 41% approve of the operation against Iran.
At the same time, the survey results show that support for the operation against Iran is significantly lower – only 27%.
The poll was conducted from February 27 to March 3 among 1,000 registered voters. The probable statistical error is 3.1 percentage points.
Recall that a previous Reuters/Ipsos poll in November last year showed that Trump’s rating is the lowest since his return to power, as Americans are dissatisfied with his actions regarding the high cost of living and the investigation into the case of the late convicted billionaire Jeffrey Epstein.
In addition, it was previously reported that almost half of Europeans (48% of respondents) consider the US president to be “an enemy of Europe.” The highest figures were recorded in Belgium (62%) and France (57%), while the lowest were in Croatia (37%) and Poland (19%).
