Russia struck the Nova Poshta terminal in the suburbs of Kharkiv—a video has appeared showing rescuers clearing debris and helping victims. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian", citing a post by the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
After the attack, rescuers and emergency services worked at the site — footage has emerged showing them extinguishing the fire, clearing debris, and helping the victims.
The published footage shows the work of the State Emergency Service and other services. Rescuers extinguish the fire, clear debris, and carry the wounded on stretchers.
According to preliminary indications, one of the victims may be a terminal employee — his clothing resembles the uniform of Nova Poshta employees.
The prosecutor’s office issued a brief statement: “Consequences of the shelling of the Nova Poshta terminal in the suburbs of Kharkiv.”
Chronology of the night attack
On the night of January 13, a threat of ballistic weapons use was declared in the region. The air force reported a high-speed target in the direction of Kharkiv. Soon, residents heard explosions both outside the city and in Kharkiv itself.
After the strike, a large fire broke out in the suburbs. Later, the media reported several deaths and injuries. In addition, during the drone raid in Kharkiv, a Shahed drone hit a children’s sanatorium, which also caught fire.
Why Kharkiv remains one of the main targets
Kharkiv and the surrounding region are regularly shelled by Russia. The region remains a priority for Moscow due to its strategic location near the border and developed infrastructure. Earlier, Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin repeatedly mentioned Kharkiv among the territories that Russia was trying to include in its political ultimatums.
