Russia strikes again in Zaporizhzhia: 5 dead (photos)

On the evening of November 20, the Russian army attacked Zaporizhzhia again. Explosions occurred in the city, causing deaths and significant damage. This was announced by the head of the Zaporizhzhia regional military administration Ivan Fedorov on his Telegram channel, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
According to Fedorov, immediately after the explosion, the emergency service arrived at the scene and began to survey the area and record the consequences of the attack.
Initially, several victims were reported, but the information quickly changed – the scale of the tragedy turned out to be much larger.







Updated information about the victims
A short time later, the head of the EMB clarified that
- two people were killed;
- two more people were injured;
- a fire broke out at the point of impact.
However, around 23:00 the data was updated: the number of victims increased.
As of late afternoon, there were 5 dead and three wounded.




Consequences of the strike
The enemy attack caused significant damage to civilian infrastructure. The following were damaged:
- residential buildings,
- a shop,
- a market,
- and other objects near the hit site.
Rescuers continue to work at the scene, and information on the number of victims and damage is being updated.






It should be noted that Russian troops regularly shell Zaporizhzhia in an attempt to put pressure on the region and civilians. UWA urges citizens not to ignore air raid warnings and immediately take cover.
