Russia attacks industrial facility in Ternopil region: large-scale fire breaks out

On the night of 16 October, the air raid in the Ternopil region lasted more than two hours – from 00:35 until almost three o’clock. At that time, the enemy attacked one of the industrial facilities in the region, which resulted in a large-scale fire. This was announced by the head of the Ternopil Regional Military Administration Vyacheslav Nehoda, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
“45 rescuers on 12 units of special equipment and 12 police officers on 4 units of special equipment were involved in the rapid elimination of the consequences,” the statement said.
The head of the JMA also noted that no one was killed or injured as a result of the strike.

In total, the Russians attacked Ukraine with 136 attack drones overnight: air defence forces shot down 51 drones, 60 UAVs were lost locally, and two more returned to Russia.
