According to authorities, residential buildings and one of the hotels in the Poltava community were damaged as a result of the attack. The strikes caused fires.

The head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration reported that all emergency services are on the scene, and information about casualties is being verified.

“As a result of the enemy attack in the Poltava community, residential buildings and a hotel were damaged, and fires broke out. All services are working on the ground,” he noted.

Consequences of the strike on Zaporizhzhia

In Zaporizhzhia, the Russian army launched a second strike using ballistic missiles. The shelling damaged apartment buildings and private homes, as well as non-residential structures.

According to preliminary data, at least three people were injured.

“In Zaporizhzhia, high-rise and private homes, as well as non-residential buildings, have been destroyed and damaged,” the regional governor reported.

An air raid alert was declared overnight in several regions of Ukraine, including:
