Russia moves tanks to Crimea and prepares for defence – partisans

Russia has deployed a tank battalion to Crimea and is preparing to repel attacks on the peninsula. This was reported by the local guerrilla group ATES, Komersant ukrainskyi https://www.komersant.info/ reports.

“According to our information, about 31 tanks have recently arrived in Yevpatoriya, which tells us that an entire tank battalion is being deployed. Our agent managed to get in touch with one of the officers of this unit. The dialogue revealed that the tank battalion was redeployed to the territory of Crimea as part of the strengthening of the Crimean group,”

– the statement reads.

According to the guerrillas, active movements of Russian troops and the accumulation of military equipment have been observed on the occupied peninsula recently. The occupiers are now preparing to repel attacks by Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups in Sevastopol, according to the ATES.

“According to our information, the Russian command is preparing to repel an attack by Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups, and for this purpose, the coastal defence line will be reinforced with armoured personnel carriers. We have also been informed that after the extreme attack of Ukrainian UAVs, the Russian command has set a task to increase the number of air defence systems over Sevastopol,”
