Russia attacks Kyiv again – with cruise missiles: there are hits to houses

After many hours of shelling with attack drones, on the night of July 31, Russians struck again at Kyiv, this time with cruise missiles. This was reported by Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko and the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration Timur Tkachenko, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
According to the monitoring channels, it was previously discussed the use of 6-8 Iskander-K type missiles. A series of very loud explosions were heard in the capital.
As noted, the enemy insidiously launched a missile strike on the capital after a long air raid.
“Consequences in Shevchenkivskyi and Sviatoshynskyi districts. Residential buildings,” said Tkachenko.
Mayor Vitali Klitschko added that medical calls were recorded in both districts. In Shevchenkivskyi, the shock wave smashed windows in the children’s department of a medical institution, no one was injured.

Consequences by district:
- In Sviatoshynskyi district, the entrance of a residential building was destroyed. Emergency services are working at the scene. There are also fires in several non-residential buildings.
- In Solomyansky district , apartments in several buildings were damaged. Cars were on fire. There are also fires and damage at several non-residential buildings.
- There are damaged buildingsin Holosiivskyi district. In particular, a school and a kindergarten.
- In Shevchenkivskyi district, a shock wave smashed windows in the children’s department of a medical institution.
Currently, 20 residents of the city are known to have been injured. 8 of them were hospitalized. Others were treated on the spot.
Ambulance crews continue to work at the scene.
