Russia is systematically using chemical weapons at the front: Ukrainian Armed Forces have already been killed

The Russian occupation forces at the front are systematically using chemicals prohibited by international conventions against the Ukrainian Defense Forces. This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the GUR.
Ukrainian intelligence officers note that due to the inability of Russian troops to achieve their objectives on the battlefield, the invaders are using chemicals at the front. Thus, during the full-scale war, the Russians have made this practice systematic.
According to the GUR, cases of occupants’ use of poison gas ammunition are increasingly recorded on the contact line, particularly in Zaporizhzhia region near the village of Shcherbaki.
These are mostly RG-VO grenades (a hand grenade is a poisonous substance). Russian soldiers drop them from drones on the positions of the Ukrainian military.
According to information from open sources, these hand grenades contain an irritant chemical agent, chloroacetophenone.
“The gas used by the Russian invaders affects the mucous membranes and respiratory tract. Staying near the chemical attack zone without protective equipment can have fatal consequences – unfortunately, there are already casualties among the defenders of Ukraine,” the DIU said.
They also added that the use of chemicals by the Russian army is systematic. This indicates the inability of the occupiers to achieve the tasks set by the Kremlin on the battlefield.
Currently, experts are analyzing the chemicals used by the Russians to identify them.
