On the night of Friday, June 20, several high-rise buildings in the city center were damaged during a massive attack in Odesa, and fires broke out at other locations. This was reported by Odesa Mayor Ihor Trukhanov, according to "Komersant Ukrainian"

“As a result of the nighttime enemy attack, several high-rise buildings in the city center, cars, and buildings of higher education institutions were damaged. On the coast, a fire broke out as a result of the fall of an attack UAV, and a blast wave damaged recreational facilities,” Trukhanov wrote.

He also noted that a gas pipeline was damaged in another area of the city, and the emergency service is working at the scene.

“A large-scale fire broke out as a result of a drone strike, literally destroying a four-story residential building. Ceilings and walls collapsed, and people may be trapped under the rubble. Emergency services are working,” Trukhanov said.

According to Oleh Kiper, the head of the regional administration, there are currently two victims.

Both officials posted photos of the aftermath of the attack.
