Russia hits residential buildings in Zaporizhzhia: there may be people under the rubble

Russian occupation forces attacked the city of Zaporizhzhia and Zaporizhzhia district with guided aerial bombs. At least 26 people were injured as a result of the attack on residential buildings. Preliminary, there may be people under the rubble of destroyed houses. This was reported by Ivan Fedorov, the head of the city’s military administration, on Telegram, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
“Two apartment buildings were heavily damaged, and twelve more apartment buildings and private houses were damaged. These are the preliminary results of the enemy attack on Zaporizhzhia.
As a result of the attack, the buildings were heavily damaged, and some structures partially collapsed.
As of the latest official data:
- at least 26 people were injured;
- all the victims are receiving the necessary medical care;
- a woman was injured in the Kushugum community.
Rescuers and emergency services continue to work at the sites of the hits.
According to preliminary information, people may be trapped under the rubble. Search and rescue operations, debris removal and inspection of damaged structures are ongoing at the sites of the destruction.
Officials are urging residents to stay away from the destroyed buildings due to the risk of repeated collapses.
