Russia strikes a penal colony near Zaporizhzhia with a bomb: 16 people killed

On the night of July 29, Russian occupation forces attacked one of the penitentiary institutions in Zaporizhzhia region, killing 16 people and injuring 35. This was reported by the head of the OVA Ivan Fedorov, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
“At night, the enemy fired 8 times at Zaporizhzhia district, first at the medical facilities. They also hit a penal colony. 16 people were killed and 35 were wounded. The injured are being provided with all necessary medical aid,” noted Fedorov.
According to him, as a result of the attack, the institution’s premises were destroyed, and private houses nearby were also damaged.
In total, during the day, the occupants struck 672 times at 14 localities in Zaporizhzhia region.
Russian troops carried out 10 air strikes on Bilenke, Zaliznychne, Bilohirya, Malynivka and Novoandriivka.
461 UAVs of various modifications (mostly FPVs) attacked Malokaterinivka, Kamianske, Gulyaypole, Orikhiv, Shcherbaki, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka and Charivne.
12 attacks from multiple rocket launchers hit Hryhorivka, Kamianske, Shcherbaky, Mala Tokmachka and Charivne.
189 artillery strikes were conducted on the territory of Kamianske, Huliaypole, Orikhiv, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Solodke and Preobrazhenka.
There were 24 reports of destruction of apartments, private houses and outbuildings.
